Before getting into it, since this is a pretty new game as of the creation of this topic, please be mindful of spoilers! Especially story spoilers. If you're replying with a spoiler, please make sure to spoiler it, if you're just reading the posts, make sure you're sure about reading any spoilers. I would also spoil the new Mega Evolutions if they weren't shown in a trailer for the game.

Now that that's out of the way, Kalos was the first region I actually finished a Pokemon game for (I played Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Yellow but I never actually got anywhere close to the Elite Four in those games lol). Pokemon X/Y brought in the Mega Evolution gimmick and it was easily my favorite of the ones that came after it. So playing another game in one of my favorite regions was super exciting!

I also really love the story and [spoilers for the literal end of the game] AZ dying was something I called early in the game but still cried over when it happened. Also the new Mega Evos that are introduced to the game are fun! Well, I really dislike Dragonite's and Baxcalibur's (that was shown in the DLC trailer) but the other ones are so good. Mega Starmie is so doofy looking but I adore it and Mega Drampa looks so dang cool. It instantly became my favorite Mega (sorry Lucario lol).

I will say, while I like the "parkour" aspect of getting around sometimes, I think that could have been made better and not as clunky to do. Also putting some Mega Stones behind the online PVP sure is a Nintendo decision and one that is very, very bad.
