The Battle of Hogwarts

The Battle of Hogwarts took place a little over 20 years ago (May 2, 1998) and was written about in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (which came out July 21, 2007).

It's sort of odd how things remembered from 10 years ago are so different from things remembered when it just happened yesterday, last week, last year.

When you first read about it, what was the most catching your attention?

What sorts of things do you remember now about the battle?
