Howdy there!

I'm a new student, an "ickle firstie" indeed, here at HOL. I ended up being a Ravenclaw, but Hufflepuff was close behind. I guess, then, you could call me a hard-working bookworm.

Anywho, can't wait to meet some new folks here. See you all in the threads and in the IRC chatroom!

Hello HOL! My name is Kiera, and I joined on February 5th this year. This place is incredible, and I'm really excited to get involved. Hopefully I'll find my way around here in no time, everyone's been so helpful.

I'm a hardcore Slytherin with a passion for the finer dark arts. I love meeting new people, all types, but I'll be honest and say that I tend to favor those with a bit of a bite. I like to be around strong spirited people who know what they want and will do anything to get it.

I also love to seriously party, but hopefully that won't get in the way of my work here. I plan on dedicating myself to the rise of Slytherin as a major power at HOL, and I hope to contribute to all the happenings around here as best as I can. There's a lot to do, and I'm excited to be a part of it!

Hello all!

I am a tranfer student from America, where I attended the Apalachia School of Magic for one year, so in some ways I am like a second year, but in other ways I am like a first year. I am really excited to learn more about both magic and my European brethren. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Upon arriving, I was sorted in the Hufflepuff House. This is a new concept to me, we did not have such things at Apalachia, so I am both excited and a bit nervous about this idea.

Ok, about me...

First, I don't get the fascination with Quidditch. Maybe it's because I'm an American, maybe because I don't like flying on a broom, maybe I'm just odd. I doubt I'll attend any matches, but maybe I will if people can convince me otherwise.

Well, that's enough for now, if you want to know more about me, just ask. Like I said, I am very excited about attending Hogwarts, where my Grandmother attended (I think she was a Ravenclaw). Now I should probably try and figure out where I am going to sleep...

My name is Thalia and obviously I'm a first year Ravenclaw student! In the following I would love to tell you something about me!

I've been sorted into Ravenclaw and I'm hoping to fit in very well. I think to be a student of HOL will be a great time for me! It's an honour to be chosen as a member of Ravenclaw (which is by the way the house I desired to be in)! I don't know yet which classes willbecome my favourites but I think I'll like all of them. I really love learning - I'm a pretty enquiring person!

Something about me in "real life":

I'm a 19 year old German student, currently trying my best to pass my A-levels. After passing my final exams I would love to become a bookseller. I already found a apprenticeship training position and I was absolutely overwhelmed when I found out that they chose me!

Something about the things I love to do in my spare time:
I'm a widely read person and I love things like: listening to music, spending time with my friends and studying other languages (I'm half Dutch/half German and I also try to speak English quite fluently. I also speak some French and Latin), taking exercises in the gym, watch soccer, handball (which I also play by myself) and icehockey live and on telly.

I hope to find some new mates here!

I'm Karalin McKay, a first year student in Slytherin. It was an absolute honor to be Sorted into Salazar Slytherin's noble house, and I can only hope that I will represent it well during my time at HOL. I certainly fancy myself to be ambitious and cunning, but I suppose only time will tell now ...

In "Real Life":

I live in Wisconsin, USA. I'm 26 years old and in my last semester of college. I work part-time at a pharmacy doing anything from waiting on customers to filling prescriptions. My main interests are classical music, oboe, Star Wars, almost anything J.R.R. Tolkien, cats, and reading, particularly fantasy novels. And, of course, I like Harry Potter, as well.

Hi everyone!

I'm Zia Stonebury, and I'm a Gryffindor first-year. I was super-excited when I learnt about HOL, but I had to wait three whole months before I could join HOL! Those three months were the longest in my life, since I was so excited to join a school like Hogwarts, even if it is virtual!
I love the HP books more than the movies, and some people may hate me for this, but the books are the all-time-best.

I really don't know what else to say, but anyway, nice to meet all of you!

i just joined HOL and thought i would introduce myself. I'm 14 and i come from Australia. I play softball and like Harry Potter and Science. I wanna be a scientist when i leave school and work for NASA. umm i don't know what else to say but GO RAVENCLAW.. hehehe.
