Or-rehl-lee-us

I suppose mine is pretty easy - at least the surname. Leyla is pronounced like
"LEY-lah", so it's pretty easy, too.

(As for the origin, we have a similar name here - Laila. I just took that and changed it so it looked a bit more "interesting" and "foreign". So - playing with words can be much fun /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />)

My first name is Besai.

Be as in the first part of bed.
Sai sounds like sigh.

The emphasis is on the Sai portion, so it would be be-SIGH.

Rouse, the last name sounds like the bird grouse, but without the g.

Heya,

Nasrin is pretty obvious really, just nass-rinn, please don't pronounce it 'nasreen', that's the more common spelling, and it drives me mad getting called by it. <_<

Almeida is al-may-da.

While my character is registered as Nal Illinean, her full name is

Dracona Umbra Nalinè Velago Illinean.

That's pronounced

DRAY-coh-nah UM-bruh NAH-lih-nay veh-LAH-goh il-lih-NEE-ahn

It's a bit unusual, all right, but it's MY special name.

(I don't mean that that's my real name.)

At least once I'm properly registered, I will be a proud Ravenclaw!

Haha very funny. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> You know I was actually thinking . . . what if some random person didn't know how to pronounce Wood. I would have no idea what to say. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Yeah that's a big tough one. You should just tell them to say it the way they want to, it's not like there are any other pronounciations (sp?) for "Wood", haha.

Haha, thats very true. If you don't know how to say it already, say it the way you want to. (or at least that is my way of doing things sometimes, but not all of the time. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> )

As I know, 'rideau' means 'curtain'. But I don't know how to pronounce it.
