A message from HOL Headgirl Sara Ravenangel:
We have created a special board in the Hufflepuff Common Room inspired by the coming Valentine's Day holiday, which I also like to call International Friendship day. In this board, you can leave your Valentine's or Friendship Message and, if you are very lucky, perhaps even find a special message for you, too! This board is accessible to all HOL students and professors; thus, your status will be shown as "anonymous," so be sure to leave your name and House along with your message so we know who sent it!! (However, if you would like to leave an anonymous message for that special someone, you may do that, too!) While you are there, feel free to have as many cookies as you want, a Butterbeer, or even some Chocolate Frogs. Enjoy and be our guest!!

Attention all those musically gifted!
Prof. Fidelis Pradipta and Prof. Alisha Stirling want your musical talents (students or professors who can play an orchestral instrument at Grade 2 level at least)! Introducing The HOL World!
According to HOL: Virtual Hogwarts student Emerson Potter, the idea is to create a world for HOL students and professors of all four Houses, comprised of different lands and seas other than the world we live in now. Each land will be clickable, which will display a picture of the land and a description of the creatures that live there.
Students and professors with good HTML skills are needed to help out, in addition to artists and people to help in the creation of the world! Please email Emerson if you would like to participate.

Hear ye, hear ye -- Prof. Blue wishes to inform all of HOL about the creation of a new professor-guided/student-run school newspaper! Everyone enrolled at HOL has the chance to submit articles to this bi-weekly paper. The newspaper will have very few "permanent reporters," as the aim is to have HOLers submit many of the articles. Some specialised sections and columns are also being planned, and ideas and comments are welcomed. For more information on how to get involved, please see the post on the main HOL forum.

Prof. Patrick Chaotica wishes to announce Hunt Hysteria – The Official HOL-MC-Game! The game will begin on 4 February 2002, between teams from MC1, MC2, HOL and probably Professor-teams. All the necessary information -- about the game, rules, course of events, etc. -- can be found at the Hunt Hysteria Page. All students that want to participate and are NOT in one of the MC-classes, please send your application to Prof. Pascquil. Information on how to join one of the HOL teams can be found here.

Due to the departure of Transfiguration Professor Atlas Acadius, Prof. Black requests that all Transfiguration students email her with their name, HOL-ID, email address, and House.
The Prefects of HOL wish to announce a new contest: the The Post of the Week! The Prefects will vote on and name the "best" post of each week. The winner gets 20 points, as well as the fame of winning. Professors are also eligible to win; however, the points go to their House and not to themselves. All you have to do to win is keep posting intelligent, witty, or useful posts and and not spamming!
Prof. Swish is accepting new spells for the HOL Spellbook. Please see the post in the main HOL forum for more details. Entries close 9 March 2002.

Everything else -- and especially all P2P logs -- are considered PRIVATE and are by no means subject of being published anywhere without the OK of all people who are involved in the chat.

Prof. Mysteria Paracelsus' Poetry I and Poetry II classes are now available! These are self-paced classes and can be taken together, but it is advised that Poetry I is taken first. All students taking these classes must register their student ID and course selection at the Poetry Course forum before they will get points for their assignments.
