New students sign-up closes on 7 September 2002. The Admission Office might open again in October; incoming students at that time will be required to take an exam before being admitted. In addition, there are several people who have signed up for HOL and have yet to put on the Sorting Hat. Any student who has not been Sorted by 15 September will be deleted from the HOL database.
Headmaster Dybendahl has posted a list of students who will be set to inactive status if they have not signed up for a class by 30 September 2002.

Student teacher Conary Barclay wishes to inform all Magical Creatures of the Deep students that they are expected to sign up at the class forum. It is the student's responsibility to check the Announcements area there for information relating to the course. Class will officially start on 2 September and assignments will be accepted then. Please use the form located on the Magical Creatures of the Deep website in the Assignments area.

James Gredbank wishes to announce the grand opening of the new HOL Library!
Prof. de Avalon will be out of town until approximately 8 September. However, students who wish to get a jump on the first lesson may view it at the Art Appreciation website.
Prof. Dybendahl has posted the lesson plan for his Magical Places class, along with the instructions for the first semester project, due before 31 December 2002.
The student list for Prof. Blake's Myths and Magic class has been posted.
Students who have registered for Prof. Opal's Symbolism class need to also apply at the classroom site. Be sure to put your HOL name and ID number in your application message. Students for her Potions course need to do the same at the Potions class site.
