Tasks 6, 7, and 9 of the HOL Challenge are currently open! And don't forget to vote in the final poll for Task 5, which closes on Sunday, 25 April.

A new forum topic has been created for questions pertaining to HOL Idol 2004.

Congratulations to Lalaith Lomion, winner of March's Shining Quill Award for Prof. McCuill's Celtic Myths and Symbols class.

The Animal Mythology and Magical Musicology courses have new lessons online. The extra credit assignment for Pop Culture has also been posted.

Congratulations to Team Hufflepuff on their recent Quidditch win against Slytherin House (and also to MVP Ron Diggory)! The next match, between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, will take place Saturday, 24 April.

Announcing HOL Idol 2004! In the words of Prefect Boris Bigglesworth, it's "the return of last years all singing, all dancing extravaganza. Well, not dancing, but you get the point. HOL Idol is an opportunity for the staff, students and animals of HOL to showcase their vocal talents (or lack of)." :) For more information, please see this post in the main forum.

And speaking of Mr. Bigglesworth, congratulations on being named Hufflepuff House's Badger By Another Name for March!

Headgirl Emma Bott is organizing an IRC meeting for Friday, 30 April, at 8pm HOL time in #titan. The meeting will be to discuss the next official HOL gathering, which will be in Paris this summer from 20 August to 22 August. Additional information can be found here.

Prof. Chaotica has announced that the application period for new HOL Professors will begin on Monday, 24 May. The application form, the rules, and requirements will be posted in the Announcements board then. Please do not send any applications or questions to anyone in the Head Office until that date.
