In fact, there has been talk amongst the community that the Ministry is running on a shortage of workers, a consequence of Lord Voldemort's onslaught and the fear he has been causing in the wizarding world. The talk of shortage brings about the question of security, and rising panic is afoot. New Dutch Government Making WavesDeath Eater Robin van Kuyt, recently elected president of wizard Netherlands (the Squibbler's full coverage), has put several anti-Muggle policies into effect. The leaders of nearby countries Belgium, Germany and Denmark are hoping that these changes of policy don't flow over into their nations, with resulting mayhem, but are afraid that national borders will prove ineffective. For almost a year now, there have been many strange disappearances of items whose owners have claimed that they were distantly handed down relics of the original Hogwarts founders, in particular, objects that were said to have belonged to Godric Gryffindor and Rowena Ravenclaw. EntertainmentMagic Muggle brings laughter among the audienceBenjamin Lothingham plays the comic role of Emerald Bagshot, in the recent Diamond Alley smash-hit show, "The Magic Muggle." The show is about the troubles a wizard has when he pretends to be a Muggle for 50 days. He lives in the Muggle town of Coventry and the show features around his life as a "Muggle." Galleon turtles hit it big in Diagon AlleyThe biggest hit these past back-to-school sales was a new breed of pet from the Magical Menagerie in Diagon Alley, London. Small, cute, entertaining and easily affordable, it was no surprise that the new 'Galleon Turtle' was the number one item this year. Vampires Loose at Underground Theatre"A Vampire's Kiss" really got me thinking. It is a powerful show about a vampire's life and what makes his kind the way they are.
