HOL - Virtual Hogwarts

The layout of all pages has been modernized. All pages do now have a neat javascript menu which uses up a lot less space than the previous navigation system.

All members are now represented with an avatar throughout the site. The image links to the user's profile. The default avatar is the house badge of the user's house. Prefects, Head Students, Student Teachers, Professors and HOL Staff can upload their own custom avatar.

The profile page has been split into several sections, accessible from the side menu. Most of these have several improvements compared to the previous version, go and find out yourself.

Student Files are gone! House Points, Classes, Quills, all user settings and the like can now be reviewed (edited, changed, etc.) from within the user's own profile.

The Classes section now also shows the total points the student has won in this class so far.

The Fact Sheet, which shows the HOL History of a user, has been completely revamped and split into four sections: Points, Awards, Classes and Teaching.

HOL Friends management has been improved and the presentation now is much nicer.

HOL Treasures got their own section because there will be things to do with items in HOL in the near future.

All Departments are now properly themed with a logo so you can see more easily where exactly you are on the site.

Game Results and Player Statistics can now be updated from within the Quidditch Department by members of the HOL Quidditch Board. Quidditch questions can be added, edited and banned for official matches by all board members and the four teams' captains and co-captains. Question Sets can now be randomly generated in the Quidditch Department.

The new HOL Blog will be on the main page. Headoffice, Heads of House and Department Heads will be able to write posts and all users can post comments or even start a proper discussion on the current topic.

This is a system generated page visible for all HOL members. It shows the current scheduled dates and deadlines for things like School Holidays, Term Start and End, New Student Signup, Class Applications, Class Sign-Up and when Quills can be awarded.
