HOL Biography
Summary
Charles Pendragon was born in a small town in Wales called Llangower. Charles went to a muggle primary school called "Llanbister Cantal School" until he was 11 years old. At the young age of 11, Charles received his acceptance letter to attend the most prestigious school of magic in the world: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Charles attended Hogwarts for all seven years. After graduating from Hogwarts, Charles decided to try his hand in the muggle world, and so with the knowledge he had learned from primary school he applied to teach at Oxford.
Charles began as a student teacher at Oxford where he earned a masters in mathematics. His love for math is what attracted him to the muggle world. Charles worked at Oxford as a professor for 5 years before he felt that being a muggle wasn't for him. It was at this time that he met his lovely wife, Andrea. They married six months after their first date. Charles went to work at Beauxbatons in France because at the time Andrea's family lived in Paris. Charles and Andrea had 5 children together, all 5 children graduated with top honors from Beauxbatons.
After working for Beauxbatons for 25 years, the French ministry crumbled leaving Beauxbatons without any magical protection. Beauxbatons closed leaving Charles without a job. Charles got a job teaching squibs in Wales so Andrea and him moved with 3 of their 5 children to Wales (Charles' home land). Charles worked with squibs for 5 years before deciding that he wasn't cut out to work with squibs. It was at this time that Charles applied to work for Prof. Emerald Dybendahl at Hogwarts. He was accepted and he's never been happier.
In the summer of 2008, Charles took a sabbaticle from HOL to attend to one of his sick children. After a long battle with a strange muggle disease, Charles and Andrea's son died. After a recovery period, Charles returned to HOL, the school which he feel in love with 2 years ago.
Timeline
January 2007: Applied and was hired to teach Arithmancy.
February 1, 2007: First Term (Spring Term) began.
May-June 2007: Served on the HOL idol judges board.
June 30, 2007: Successfully completed 1st term on HOL.
August 2007: Officially accepted to teach Arithmancy for Amateurs for another term.
February 2008: Served as Professor of Arithmancy for Spring Term 2009.
June 2008-August 2009: Took a sabbaticle.
September 2009: Re-applied and accepted to be a Professor of Arithmancy.
