HOL is a virtual simulation of a Hogwarts-like wizard school. HOL - Virtual Hogwarts is a community and online school, based on the ideas of Joanne K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. Founded in June 2001, more than 3000 students from 70+ nations are registered in HOL, adult teachers from 4 continents are offering more than 40 classes, related to literature and writing, mythology and fantasy and of course all the subjects from the Harry Potter books, from Potions to Herbology, Muggle Studies to Defense Against the Dark Arts.
