Re: Books vs. Movies?
I usually prefer books over movies just simply because books aren't limited to a particular runtime or budget, so they typically contain more details that movies do. That being said, I do appreciate movies for what they are. As long as you understand they have limitations and it is an interpretation...

Re: Things your pets do
Every night my cat gathers all of her toys from around the house and puts them in her food/water bowls. During the day she takes them all out of her bowls and places them randomly throughout the house with the exception of her orange mouse - this one is her favorite and is always put back into her b...

Re: Video Games: How do you play?
My gaming life is rather pathetic. I have a Switch and a PS4. Basically my whole life I have owned a Nintendo and Playstation system of some sort, but I wouldn't really consider myself a gamer. I tend to stick to the classic stuff from my childhood - Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts, ...

Re: June Prompt: The Beginnings of Mystery Stories
My favorite mystery story is actually In Cold Blood by Truman Capote. It is a mystery/crime story stuck in this gray area between being a non-fiction story and a novel. Re: Which Disney Animated Film Is The Best?
I am actually on a mission to watch all the Disney films in order of release - I'm in like the 50s out of like 1000  Can definitely say that Lion King 2 is the best animated Disney film. Yes - the second one is superior and that's a hill I'm willing to die on. Emperor's New Groove is a close ...

Re: What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading Midnight in Chernobyl. I've been on a big Chernobyl kick for the last several months and have read a couple books regarding it - the most interesting of which was interviews with people who lived there and were affected by it. A reading rabbit hole that I highly recommend!

Re: How Many Books Do You Read Per Year
I read about 20-25 books a year. During the school year, I average one every 2-3 weeks or so, but during the summer/long holidays I can easily read one each week (if not more). Reading is my favorite thing to do!
