Welcome to Between the Pages Prompts Index and Information.

We have in here, for your convenience, a link to the prompts.

General information
You can earn 20 beans for each prompt completed. To win the coveted Between the Pages award, you must complete 7 prompts over a particular school year. This can include any new or past prompts. You may submit to a prompt more than once -- providing your submission is sufficiently different to your first one it can still count. However you may not complete a particular prompt twice in one year. (You may complete any prompt more than once in a given year, but any subsequent submissions in a given year will not earn credit for the award.) Neither prompts or graphic submissions have a deadline but to count towards an award for a particular school year, they must be completed before the end of the Spring Term of that year.

To submit for a prompt, post your reply to that particular thread. If you’re uncomfortable sharing publicly and still want it to count, email it to Book Club at hol.bookclub @ gmail.com (without the spaces). If you do that, please make sure your HOL Name and the name of the prompt are included at the top.

We didn't add any new prompts for the 2022/2023 school year but we've chosen otherwise, now, and decided to continue adding prompts now and again, here and there, starting in the 2023-2024 school year.

Want to participate? There are plenty of prompts to choose amongst from previous years, as well as any new ones we will be adding. You may also revisit a prompt you've already done, providing you have a fresh idea and you haven't submitted to it yet this school year.

Book Club welcomes you back to a new school year!

Remember there are things to do here, at HOL Hogwarts, while waiting to be approved for your classes. Book Club invites you to look over some of our activities here in Between the Pages (and also in Quill and Ink, and Ink Splatters.

If you do 7 prompts in any of category in the school year, you earn a very coveted, highly prized and sought after award. Each of the categories offers their own award -- you could end up with 3 of them in your Stash!
