Ink Splatters is dedicated to the exploration of creative graphic output - all that relates to books in some way and that which is both 'out there' in the world and stuff we create ourself!
We will have discussions of what we've seen that we like, as well as what we've seen that we don't like. We'll also create something of our own and perhaps all in the same topic. We're artists, whether we zoom in with graphics or make magnificent stick figures. Although we appreciate the graphics geniuses amongst us, we also can appreciate those who are just starting out. What we have is a 'go for it' attitude and 'well done' for having the courage to post your stuff in here.
We'll be having creative prompts in here, asking you to come up with all kinds of awesome stuff, whether it is a book cover, a character, or an outfit, you have a colorful opportunity to let your imagination fly. Join us every month and let's have a party filled with colors and art. If you complete at least seven prompts over the course of the year, you'll get a lovely Ink Splatters Award! You'll also receive 20 beans per completed prompt.
Please keep in mind that whenever you submit something and share with us your marvellous art, keep your image size 600x600 pixels or smaller, also, remember that all HOL rules apply.
We look forward to seeing what you create! We'll be accepting submissions throughout the year, so feel free to complete earlier prompts.
Check out Prompts Index and Information for more information and also for links to previous prompts.
