Bonus - "MIRROR MANIFESTATIONS" - Fall 2020

Post by Prof. Sindor Aloyarc »

Welcome to the Bonus "Manifestations" thread! Write some kind of a Short Story or Poem that revolves around this past semester ("Scroll-and-a-Half" / 150 words). Let those creative juices flow! In addition to submitting via e-mail, you are encouraged to post these publicly here. While this will not effect your points, it will encourage interactions by providing additional options for people to to connect on, particularly for those who take part in the "Mingling" portion of this month's Exam if they enjoy or relate to your work and choose to talk about something you've shared.

This is worth 15 points and/or 30 beans, however these points are SUPPLEMENTAL. While they can be used toward the 150 point minimum for a passing grade and Quill requirements, I am UNABLE to award you more than 300 points in a single term even if you've earned them. Beans on the other hand are up for grabs by anyone!

Cynda sat watching her niece with curiosity. She suspected Molly's outlook on life had changed and matured quite a lof over the last 5 months, but you could never be sure, right?

"Hey, Molly, you look deep in thought. Are you trying to decide between having chicken or fish for supper tonight?"

Molly looked at her aunt and gave her an intense look. 'No, not really. I'm just trying to figure some thinks out. Life is so confusing, you know? Just when you think you've got it all figured out, the opposite turns out to be true as well! You'd think it not be possible, but really is! What was that word again?"

"Do you mean Paradox?" Cynda asked.

"Yes, that's it! Not only only that, I was surprised to realize each coin has two sides, and that applies to life as well. Love and loss is a really good example. You have to take the thorns with the rose. It's not just a bunch of meaningless cliches."

Cynda smiled at her niece. She was growing. "No, it isn't."
