Book Covers

Post by Arianna Stonewater »

I was reading a bunch of posts from an article titled "40 Funny Reddit Posts that are Guaranteed to Make You Laugh" and one of them, while it did make me laugh, also made me think! It said this:
If authors "covered" novels, the way musicians covered songs, which covered novel would you be most excited to read?
and the first said:
Tolkien's "The Bible"
and you know, this sparked a really interesting conversation between my husband and I! The premise is they could change the style, as long as the premise and characters were all the same!

I'd be interested in Stephen King's version of Doctor Seuss, while my husband would be super excited to read anything Glenn Cook covered! What about you?

I’d love to read Madeleine L'Engle’s cover of Neil Gaiman’s “Coraline” or his cover of her “A Wrinkle in Time.”

I would be super excited if Ann Radcliffe had been able to do a version of Henry James's Turn of the Screw.
